Our School

We would like to warmly welcome you to Blakeley Heath Primary School and Blakeley Bears Nursery and wrap around care.

We are a very happy, caring and nurturing school, that works hard to provide children with a wide range of interesting and exciting opportunities.

At Blakeley Heath, we develop children's knowledge and skills, so they are prepared for their next step in education. We believe it is also essential to develop characteristics such as co-operation, resilience and self-belief so children feel confident in a range of situations both in and outside of school. To do this, we not only focus on teaching and learning but also provide children with many different opportunities such as residentials, visits and participation in local events such as the carnival and Wombourne music festival. 

Our extensive school grounds allow us to have multiple outdoors spaces for our early years classes, as well as areas for forest school and multiple after school clubs. We believe play is as important as learning, as this is where children develop so many social skills, so our break and lunchtimes are very active with tunnels, slides, gym equipment, music and scooters etc. Although we also cater for those children who prefer to draw, read or build Lego in a quieter environment. 

Our children make us proud every day – whether for academic success or for demonstrating the other skills and traits we develop through learning together.
