Yr 3 Local History

Did you know that Wombourne had a thriving nail making industry in the 1800s? Year 3 have been learning about our local history and today, we went on a walk to find the Nailers Row cottages. We looked at maps and photos to see the changes over the years. We also discussed how the nailing industry ceased to exist in Wombourne after 1889 due the industrial revolution.
