Children are admitted to school in the September of the academic year in which they are 5 years old.
The published admission number (PAN) for Blakeley Heath Primary School is 60.
If the number of children seeking admission to the school exceeds the number the of places available, then the following order of priority will be used:
*Children living within the catchment area of the school
*Children who would, in the first year to which the applications relate, have an elder brother or sister in attendance at the school
Children who satisfy both of the following criteria:
*They are distinguished from the majority of applicants either by reason of disability (material to the choice of the school and supported by written medical evidence) or by other exceptional circumstances material to the choice of the school (i.e. the circumstances of the child, not the economic or social circumstances of the parent), and they would suffer hardship if they did not attend the school.
Other children arranged in order of priority according to how near their home addresses are to the school, measurements being by the nearest practical walking route.
